The dating scene....

Ok my friends....I am back in the saddle again. I am adventuring out to start dating again. Oh boy oh boy, so far its been unsuccessful and to be honest don't like it. I feel like am on a job interview...so "so and so" what to you like to do, what do you do for a living, what are your strengths and weakness....next....Lord help me. It is definitely a different world out there. Like for instance last night I went to the Ranch Rodeo because my good friends were cooking for it and ask me to come hang out so sure sounds like fun. By the end of the evening I had a bouncer ask me to the movies, ummm no, and a 23 year old hitting on me and with him I felt like a cougar. I was waiting for him to bust out and sing "Me and Mrs. Jones", LOL. Wow its definitely going to be an adventure. I will keep y'all posted on that.

As for us Rogers girls, we all seem to be doing well. Riley was sick all last week and finally by the end of the week she finally had three teeth pop through and on top of that she has become mobile, yes folks she is crawling...yeah...maybe I will get skinny again. Speaking of skinny you know how sexy I felt wearing spanks and granny panties to suck in the love handles that want to vacation around my tummy area. Could you imagine the surprise the guy would get peeling those suckers off....LOL! Ok back to the girls, Miss Tessa has told me twice last week that she went to time out and when I asked her why, she said that her teacher put her there, after about 15 minutes of going in circles about why she went to time out I gave up and said you go girl. She is such a mess. It hit me the other day that my girls are growing up when I was actually having a conversation with my 3 year old it might not of been very productive but we were talking. How time flies by.

So my friends I ask you to keep my in prayer as I enter the dating scene. Lets hope I don't have to kiss to many frogs to find the prince. I  am to tired, I need my easy button. Hope everyone has a fantastic week.

Love to all....

The Rogers Girls' New Journey

November marks a new journey for me and my girls. The past year has been a life of its own full of ups and mostly downs, darkness, SADNESS, and loneliness for Randall. I made it through a year through all the first with out him so on October 16th the day after it was a year since Randall died I woke up and said today is a new day. This starts the new beginning of my new life. Its time for me to move forward to hold on to the love we shared and the memories we made but now its time to start living again. Living for myself and living for my girls. So let me feel you in a little on the first two days of our new journey.

November 1st was your normal busy day at work. Riley was here at the house because she had been sick all week battling fever but Tess went to daycare she soooo needed to go back to school she had to much cabin fever and needed to escape. So I pick my precious little Tess up and head home, my grandparents and mom had been here this week so we came home had supper and it was Rub a dub in the tub time. I put Tess in the bath and proceeded to do things in my room while she played. I suddenly was summoned to the bathroom from this sweet little voice and as I walked in to see Tess standing outside of the tub with a big smile and she said "mommy I Poot" code word for Mommy I pooped in the BATHTUB. How does something that big come out of my sweet beautiful PETITE little girl....seriously what in the world. Needless to say I totally grossed out had to sike myself up to get it out and as I am gloved from head to toe to get this monster of a "poot" out to the tub Tess is telling me look mommy I poot and no no don't touch my poot. I replied "Believe me sister I don't want to touch your poot." Never a dull moment. LOL!!! So gross.

Life is so good no matter what mountain you have to climb. I mentioned in my goodbye letter to Randall a bible verse that was read at his funeral. Thess. 5:18 says "Give thanks in all Circumstances for this is God's will for you." As much as it didn't make sense then it does now. Because God always has a plan for us rather we agree with it or not. I will always give thanks for all my circumstances rather its good or bad because this is God's will for me and my girls and his Love is the greatest of all. So tonight I give thanks for my new journey in life and for the Joy God will reveal to my heart once again.

Goodnight my friends and family....love you all so much!
